Portraits are a crazy attempt to capture the essence of a person, which is particularly crazy because we’re such vast people; we contain multitudes! Still, the best images are the ones where a person can look at it and see some piece of truth in it.
The goal is to help the person I’m working with to feel safe enough to let their true self come out. When that happens, I feel like it’s a magical moment, and I’m honored to be a part of a collaborative effort.
